- This Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799 under the supervision of architect Lal Chand Ustad.
- Maharaja is one of the biggest devotees of Shree Krishna so he made this mahal as per shree krishna crown.
- There are a total 953 windows in the palace.
- There is a half kilometer galiara present to go from one place to another inside the Palace.
- The walls are made of red and pink sandstone.
- All the floors are named after mandirs – Sarad Mandir, Ratna Mandir, Vichitra Mandir, Prakash Mandir, Hawa Mandir.
- This was one of the most visited palaces in Jaipur.
- This Palace is made for the queens only.
